بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِیمِ یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلۡمُدَّثِّرُ
[1]O THOU [in thy solitude] enfolded!
قُمۡ فَأَنذِرۡ
[2]Arise and warn!
وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرۡ
[3]And thy Sustainer's greatness glorify!
وَثِیَابَكَ فَطَهِّرۡ
[4]And thine inner self purify!
وَٱلرُّجۡزَ فَٱهۡجُرۡ
[5]And all defilement shun!
وَلَا تَمۡنُن تَسۡتَكۡثِرُ
[6]And do not through giving seek thyself to gain,
وَلِرَبِّكَ فَٱصۡبِرۡ
[7]but unto thy Sustainer turn in patience.
فَإِذَا نُقِرَ فِی ٱلنَّاقُورِ
[8]And [warn all men that] when the trumpet-call [of resurrection] is sounded,
فَذَ ٰلِكَ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ یَوۡمٌ عَسِیرٌ
[9]that very Day shall be a day of anguish,
عَلَى ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ غَیۡرُ یَسِیرࣲ
[10]not of ease, for all who [now] deny the truth!
